Guided Adventures are relaxed, small-group trips designed for families and friends who want to enjoy quality time on the water together. These trips are about exploration, connection to the ocean, and enjoying whatever the day presents, without pressure or rigid plans.
They may include a mix of snorkelling, wildlife encounters, and time spent exploring local beaches, reefs or nearby islands, depending on conditions and the interests of the group. The emphasis is on an enjoyable, unhurried experience that allows people to relax, explore, and make the most of being out on the water.
Each adventure is shaped around conditions on the day and the mix of activities the group would like to enjoy. We’ll have a plan before departure, but the emphasis is on flexibility and letting the day unfold rather than sticking to a fixed itinerary.
The day might include snorkelling, time on the beach, a bit of fishing, or simply exploring and seeing where the day leads.
Guided Adventures are best planned with a short conversation beforehand so the day can be shaped around the group, conditions, and any particular interests. This helps set expectations while keeping plenty of flexibility once on the water.
Group sizes vary depending on where the trip runs and the conditions on the day. As a guide, offshore adventures (such as from Mooloolaba) are typically limited to four people, while trips in smoother, more sheltered waters such as Moreton Bay may accommodate up to seven people. Final numbers are confirmed during planning to ensure a comfortable and well-managed day on the water.
